About The Event

This is a FREE event and to keep it FREE we REQUIRE YOUR HELP PROMOTING the event by inviting friends to the event, posting images and links to your work, and sharing the event on your timeline! Thanks!

Art Haus at the Pour Haus in New Braunfels is held monthly on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Talent features fire spinning, 2D and 3D artist vendors, live painters, live local music, and local film. Free event!

***In case of inclement weather, we will be setting up in the Downtown Social directly connected to The Pour Haus :)

ARTIST RULES AND GUIDELINES, ART HAUS AT THE POUR HAUS,

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX

LOCATION

The Pour Haus, 343 San Antonio St. New Braunfels, TX 78130, outdoor patio bar with some covered and indoor space. Occasional food trucks park outside but the establishment does not serve food. The Downtown Social next door serves until 9pm. Dog and family friendly venue.

**In case of inclement weather, rain, wind, cold, etc, we will be able to set up in the Downtown Social directly connected to the Pour Haus. Dog and family friendly venue with restaurant, bar, TVs and bowling alley! Very spacious

By signing up via our website khuckproductions.com, you are agreeing to all of the below conditions.

**The ticket you will receive in your email is NOT required for entry to the event.

CANCELING

If for any reason an artist or vendor must cancel their reserved spot in the event, she/he must notify the event coordinators by email (khuck1991@gmail.com) with adequate time to find a replacement for the event (3 days minimum) or that participant may not be invited back. If you have to cancel any sooner for a serious reason such as a personal or family/medical emergency, please contact coordinators at your earliest convenience to inform of your cancellation.

ADVERTISING

A flyer will be created for online sharing and physical print for the promotion of the event. This is a free event, so we ask that instead of payment, artists should also promote the event via social media to increase attendance.

ARRIVAL

Artists and vendors will arrive by 7pm on the designated date to set up their display and/or booth area. Everyone is expected to be set up by 7pm for the entire duration of the event (until 12am midnight). There is no participation fee at this time.

Artists will set up on a first come, first serve basis. Until further notice, all outdoor areas of the venue are open to artists and vendors to set up their tables for merchandise, artwork, and live painting setup. Artists and vendors should bring their own extension cords or lights if desired. Everyone will do their best to accommodate the electrical needs for these devices, however, it is not guaranteed that all participants will have access to electric outlets.

SUPPLIES/MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT FOR DISPLAY SPACE

Artists and vendors are asked to bring nothing larger than a 6ft table for merchandise that must not obstruct any walkways or access to entrance/exit, restroom, stage or bar area. Participants should bring their own chairs, tables, easels, lights, and other art supplies they may need through the course of the event.

There will be space for hanging artwork along the railing/fence line that will be open on a first come, first serve basis. Artists are welcome to display artwork here by their own means (no supplies available at this time) Necessary supplies may include wires, hooks, zip ties, etc. and must be supplied by each individual artist. Event coordinators are not guaranteed to carry supplies for the display space.

At this time, we cannot permit any artists or vendors to use nails, screws, or any other tools to alter any area of the perimeter to display their artwork. Display walls, panels, grids, racks etc. will be permitted for personal use as long as they do not obstruct walkways, entry/exit, restrooms, bars, other participants' setup, and stage area. No artist or vendor should take up more than a 10x10' space for their vending, display, and painting station.

**Power sources are very limited at this time, so please bring your own extension cords, splitters, power strips etc if you'll need power.

Pour Haus reserves the right to ask any participant not to display or sell work if the management feels the work does not align with the image of the establishment.

ARTIST SAFETY

Artists are responsible for their own work. Any damage done to the artwork during the event is the responsibility of the individual artist claiming ownership of the work involved. Artists will be help responsible for damage to Pour Haus property that was result of their personal actions.

Live painters must bring drop cloths or any other necessary cleaning materials to assure that their painting station remains clean in the event of spills or other accidents.

Artists must be aware of any safety hazards their display/painting/vending area may create such as tripping, breaking, etc. and will be responsible for taking precaution against any accidents that take place in their setup area.

SALES

All sales will be handled by each individual artist. There will be no commission taken from sales by the Pour Haus or the event coordinators. Artists and vendors are responsible for keeping track of sales (and/or sales tax) for the evening. It is the responsibility of the artists and vendors to keep track of their inventory for the entirety of the event. Lost or stolen goods are the responsibility of the artist or vendor.

CLEAN UP/TAKE DOWN

At the end of the event (12am) each artist will be responsible for cleaning up/taking down their own area and disposing of any trash left over from the course of the evening. If any artwork or other property is left behind, Pour Haus will not be held responsible for the care of these items. Each artist's work and property will be his or her sole responsibility. Participants will leave the Pour Haus in the best possible condition cleaning up after themselves in a respectful manner for the space.

Artists will not be allowed to take down their work/table area until the end of the event. If you do so without notifying any of the event coordinators (Art Haus coordinators, not Pour Haus staff) with a legitimate reason for leaving prematurely (such as family or medical emergency) you may not be invited back to this event.

CONCLUSION

By attending the event, each participant is agreeing to comply to all of the above guidelines.
