Intuitive Art Class with Laura Molina

I believe everyone is born with the natural ability of intuition. Some of us may have shut down any natural intuitive abilities because of fear or some may not know how to open up to go deeper. Intuition is a part of everyone and similarly to a muscle it is a matter of learning how to strengthen that which is already there. In this class you will learn how to ground to the earth and connect to Source/ God/ Spirit/ the Universe for protection. You will practice being in an intuitive receptive state of being. You will practice trusting yourself so that your intuition may grow and blossom. We will start off discussing the different ways we receive intuitively followed by a guided meditation before painting. The painting is entirely subjective and requires no prior painting knowledge. This painting process is purely abstract and requires no skills or experience or techniques. However the process is just as great if you do have previous painting experience! You will create and complete an 8x10 acrylic painting based on the colors, imagery, feelings or sensations you receive during meditation. The paintings will be completely abstract representations of your intuition. This is a journey focused art exercise. Because this class does not have a planned outcome based painting you will experience being open and in the flow of your intuition. Intuitive painting is an amazing exercise that allows more freedom and flow in art. By allowing your intuition to guide you, the process will unfold with you choosing your colors intuitively and allowing your hand to intuitively guide your brushstrokes. There is no right or wrong way to paint in this class. This class can be taken repeatedly with completely different painting results each time.
