Monthly Martindale Market, August 25th
Monthly Martindale Market is held every 4th Saturday at the intersection of Hwy 80 & 142 right next door to the Hwy 80 Feed Barn. The Market is home to local vendors selling handmade, homegrown, vintage & antique wares. The market features local music & family-friendly activities.

About The Event

VENDOR INFO:
• BOOTH FEE IS $20.00 PER EVENT
• FIRST TIME APPLICATION FEE IS $10
Booth Requirements
• All vendor spaces are approximately 10 ft. X 10 ft.
*If you are using a tent, they must be anchored with weights, NO STAKES.
Entire display including ropes, supports, etc. must be within these
boundaries.
• All vendors must bring their own supplies, including, tables,
chairs,table cloths & change.
• Electricity will not be provided. Generators are acceptable but must
be quiet and as fume free as possible.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made as soon as possible, but no later than the
Monday prior to the upcoming market. Contact Rachel at 512-618-9504

Refunds
Credit will be granted for the next scheduled event ONLY if the market
was officially cancelled. Otherwise, there is no exception for refunds.
Texas Sales Tax Permits
It is the responsibility of the vendor to have a Texas Sales Tax permit and
have it available upon request. To obtain Tax Permits visit the Texas
Comptroller of Public Accounts at www.window.state.tx.us.us/taxpermit/.
Please note, it is very costly to operate without a permit; the Comptroller
may assess daily penalties for operating without a permit.
Farm Food
If vendors sell veggies, fruit, meats, eggs, poultry, the items MUST BE
GROWN OR RAISED BY THE VENDOR, not bought from a store and
flipped.
Prepared & Perishable Foods
Martindale Market does not accept perishable food vendors at this time.
Vendors selling baked goods, candies, home-canned or dried foods/
sauces/dressings/condiments as well as eggs & meat MUST hold a TEXAS
FOOD HANDLERS/MANAGERS LICENSES from Texas State Health
Department. Visit

Please bring any licences to the event.
Set-up Take Down
Set-up is scheduled the morning of the event from 8 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Take down may not begin until 3:00 p.m.
All vendors are required to be present for the duration of the entire event.
Event Cancellation
All events will be held rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain, lightning or
extreme weather conditions, the market will officially cancel all activity.
Communication will post on the event website and FB event page. Refunds
will be
CREDITED for future participation.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited near booths & cigarette butts must be properly
disposed of. This event takes place very close to the San Marcos River &
we must do our part to protect it. Anyone not properly disposing of waste
will be asked to leave.
Parking
All vendors must park in the back parking lot as far from the market as possible.
